1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing or using ResumeAlign AI, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and ResumeAlign AI.

2. Description of Service

ResumeAlign AI is a software-as-a-service platform that helps users organize career information, ingest job-related content, analyze job descriptions and generate AI-assisted resume content tailored to specific opportunities. The Service may include job connectors, resume generation tools, matching features, scoring features and related administrative functionality.

ResumeAlign AI does not apply to jobs on your behalf, does not act as a recruiter and does not guarantee interviews, offers or employment outcomes.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using ResumeAlign AI, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• The information you provide is accurate and complete
• You will keep your account credentials secure

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for all content you submit to the Service, including resumes, work history, skills, job preferences, imported job data and other materials. You agree that you will not:

• Upload false, misleading or unlawful content
• Infringe another person's intellectual property or privacy rights
• Use the Service for fraudulent, abusive or harmful purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or another user's data

You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing and approving any AI-generated output before using it, sharing it or submitting it to an employer.

5. Subscription and Billing

Certain features of ResumeAlign AI may require a paid subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to pay all applicable fees associated with your selected plan.

Additional billing terms:

• Subscription fees are billed through a third-party payment processor such as Stripe
• Pricing, plan limits and included features may vary by plan
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law
• We may suspend or restrict access if payment fails, your subscription lapses or your plan limits are exceeded
• You are responsible for keeping your billing information accurate and current

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the information and content you submit to ResumeAlign AI, subject to the rights you grant us to operate the Service.

ResumeAlign AI and its licensors retain all rights, title and interest in and to the platform, including all software, designs, workflows, user interface elements, branding, text, graphics, features and underlying technology. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you other than the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

ResumeAlign AI uses artificial intelligence and automated systems to generate resume content, summaries, suggestions and match-related insights. AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or inappropriate for your intended use.

ResumeAlign AI makes no representation or warranty that generated content is accurate, complete, compliant with employer requirements or likely to result in an interview or job offer. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating all generated content before relying on it.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code from the Service
• Use automated means to scrape, overload or interfere with the Service beyond intended use
• Access the accounts or data of other users without authorization
• Use the Service in violation of applicable law
• Use the Service to create, store or transmit malicious code, spam or harmful content

9. Data Usage

In order to provide the Service, ResumeAlign AI may process your information, including account data, resume content, job-related content, usage logs and generated outputs. Our collection, use and disclosure of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Termination

We may suspend, limit or terminate your access to the Service at any time if:

• You violate these Terms
• Payment fails or your account becomes delinquent
• We detect abuse, fraud, misuse or security risks
• We are required to do so by law

You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations already incurred.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ResumeAlign AI and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of opportunity or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of ResumeAlign AI for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to ResumeAlign AI during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. ResumeAlign AI disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or that any content or output will be accurate or reliable.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles, except as otherwise required by applicable law.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date and post the revised Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
